In the beginning...
I love baking!!! However, my cakes have not always been so pretty. This one (over to the right) was for my husband's birthday. He requested a 3-layer green cake. Simple? So I thought. This was the result. He said it tasted good, but laughed so hard because the cake was actually self-mutilating before our very eyes.
Then we had a baby and I wanted her first birthday cake to actually stay together and look cute. From that point on, determination, research, and a whole lot of patience were the key ingredients in turning me into a baking addict.
